Hey Strangers,

My name is Bella, and I am a senior at a University in PA.  You can find me in Avalon, NJ  rocking my headphones (Effing:heart:them) with a hoodie or on the beach! I am always down for a good Tiktok & I love posting selfies or pictures of my friend regardless of how anyone looks (IDGAF). I never take life too seriously & I am always down to have good times.  I hope you enjoy my thoughts on how to live a healthier life by being a radundergrad.com

Our Pick

El Vez

We started the night at El Vez with some amazing margaritas. It is a Mexican restaurant/bar with a super fun atmosphere. It was a great spot to grab some appetizers and drinks before hitting the rest of the city. We got the nachos, chips & guac, and street corn, which were all pretty good. We got a variety of different margaritas while we were there, but the Frozen Blood Orange marg was definitely one of our favorites. We will for sure be returning for more drinks in the future!

Our Pick

Tinsel

Tinsel is a holiday pop up bar that decorates according to the holiday, typically known for their Christmas decorations. It is currently decorated for Halloween, so it is called Nightmare before Tinsel. It is a pretty small bar, so it can get fairly crowded pretty quick. The drink we decided to go with was the Blood Bag. Truthfully, this is more of a bar you go to for the experience, not necessarily for a good drink. Overall, we had a lot of fun at this bar and cannot wait to go back when it is all decorated for Christmas!

Our Pick

Barstool Sansom Street

Barstool recently opened a new bar in Philly and we hadn’t been before, so we knew it was somewhere we wanted to go. We went during the week, so it was not very busy, which was nice for getting our drinks quickly, but we definitely want to come back on the weekend because we think it would be even more fun. By the time we got to Barstool, we needed a little pick me up, so we ordered espresso martinis. The atmosphere was super chill and definitely a place we would love to go again.

Our Pick

The Library Bar

The last place we hit before leaving the city was the Library Bar located inside the Rittenhouse Hotel. It almost felt like you were actually in a library! We got there a little before they were closing, so we were pretty quick in and out and there were not many others there, so we were able to experience the whole bar ourselves. It is definitely a different vibe, but it is super cool. More espresso martinis were ordered, probably a little too much espresso for the hour of the night, but overall was a super unique experience!
