Rachel

Hey Yo,

My name is Rachel & I am a senior at a university in Florida. I am a South Jerz Beach girl who never met a sunny day she didn’t  . You can find me on the beach, smiling, surfing, or shooting my spidey web. I am always down for group beers or a live band that makes you wanna move. I hope you enjoy my thoughts on Radundergrad.com.

Place #1

The aroma of freshly ground coffee beans fills your lungs as you open the door. Kookaburra is an Australian-American coffee and pie cafe. They begun in downtown Saint Augustine in 2012 and have since expanded to seven sites around the area.

My favorite Kookaburra coffee is an Iced Hot Aussie with oat milk. A Hot Aussie is a vanilla and cream espresso latte. It is truly paradise in a cup.

Place #2

SweetWater is without a doubt one of the most unique coffee shops I have ever visited. It not only serves excellent coffee and sandwiches, but it also doubles as an art gallery. When you enter inside the cafe, your eyes will be met with the original, vibrant artwork that covers the walls.

My typical SweetWater order is an Aloha Mocha with a Great White Bagel. A Great White Bagel is an everything bagel topped with spinach, mozzarella, tomato, and red onion all finished with balsamic glaze. It’s a breakfast of champions if you ask me. SweetWater also provides a great ambience for sitting down and completing work while enjoying your food.

Place #3

You know, I do not think I would have made it through last semester without Juniper Market. Juniper Market is a cafe that serves organic coffee and nutritious light meals that will have you energized and ready to take on the day. The environment is light, airy, and lively, which is similar to how their food will make you feel.

I am a huge fan of their Iced Caramel Latte and Iced Vanilla Matcha. In terms of food, I couldn’t pick a favorite because everything I have tasted from there has been superb. The staff is extremely welcoming and down to earth. You will feel more grounded when you leave Juniper Market than when you arrived.
