Rachel

Hey Yo,

My name is Rachel & I am a senior at a university in Florida. I am a South Jerz Beach girl who never met a sunny day she didn’t  . You can find me on the beach, smiling, surfing, or shooting my spidey web. I am always down for group beers or a live band that makes you wanna move. I hope you enjoy my thoughts on Radundergrad.com.

Our Pick

A fall-scented candle is a must-have as we enter the colder months. There is nothing like coming home after a long day to a house that smells like a crisp autumn day. I prefer fresh fragrances over sweet because the sweet can be overbearing at times. I find fall aromas to be incredibly comforting when I am away at college since they remind me of home and the holidays with my family.

Our Pick

I had a math teacher in the sixth grade who introduced these Caramel Apple Pops to me. I have not had a fall without them since. These green apple-flavored lollipops covered in chewy caramel are sure to have your mouth watering. They are my sweet treat for the fall months.

If we are alike in any way, you prefer spending your Friday nights under the lights. Nothing beats getting together with my family and watching my cousins play football. Living in Florida it is still warm when the sun is up, but as soon as the sun goes down the temperature goes right with it. This is where an oversized flannel or jacket comes in handy. It is light enough that you won’t sweat, but it’ll still keep you toasty while you watch the game.

Our Pick

The switch from iced coffee to hot coffee and hot tea is one of my favorite aspects of the fall season. Nobody likes a luke-warm cup of coffee. This is why having a travel coffee mug is essential. The travel coffee cup assists in keeping your coffee hot, and it minimizes your carbon footprint since you are using a reusable cup. Sounds like a win-win to me.

A fall-colored throw blanket is nothing short of a fall must-have. Lay it over the ledge of the couch and you have an adorable fall addition to your space. Whether it is curling up on the couch with a good book, a glass of wine, and your favorite fall candle. Or maybe going out for a picnic at the park this blanket is going to be the first thing you reach for.
